Gas Flowrate Standard Units for Calibration of Flow Meters with Nominal Sizes from DN 50 to DN 1400

Vympel-15000 and Vympel-80000 first-echelon gas volume flowrate unit standards have been built and certified at SPA Vympel facilities with the participation of FSUE VNIIR (All-Russian Research Institute of Flow Metering).
The standards provide the reproduction of gas flowrate units within the range from 30 to 80,000 working m³ with an error limit of 0.3% for their transfer to flow meters with nominal sizes from DN 50 to DN 1400. The standards are bound to the National Russian State Primary Standard of Flowrate Units. Air under standard conditions is used as a working medium.
Standard measuring instruments are represented by Vympel-500 8-channel ultrasonic flow meters with an error limit of 0.2% and nominal sizes from DN 80 to DN 500. At present, Vympel-80000 is the only standard allowing the calibration of large-diameter (from DN 600 to DN 1400) ultrasonic flow meters within the full flowrate range and with an accuracy class A.
